Brian Wolfe
Brian Wolfe is a lawyer, investor and teacher. Brian is a retired partner at Kirkland & Ellis, where he practiced PE M&A law for 17 years. Brian leads Funded Ventures, which is active in the search fund and small business acquisition space, and previously co-led a SAAS roll-up with sale to Alpine Investors. Brian also teaches “Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition” and “Private Equity Transactions” at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of North Carolina, and is an active speaker on these topics.
Brian serves on the board and audit committee of Chicago Public Media (owner of Chicago Sun-Times and WBEZ), the boards of Intersect Illinois, Breakthrough T1D (f/k/a JDRF) Illinois, the Greater Chicago Legal Clinic and the Skandalaris Center at Washington University in St. Louis, and was appointed by Gov. Pritzker to serve on the Illinois Courts Commission, and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
